I remember reading this during our writing circle and feeling emotional! Revisited that space again :)
Thanks Sanskriti!
And you are back!!!! Supriya it is always so so nice to read you. 🤩
Thaaank you!:-)
I have always fretted over my eyesight. Now I have a new perspective - yours and your dad’s. Bless you both!
Just remember, we are POWERful:-)
What a beautiful essay! To celebrate a life through an object! I can see an essay evolving in my head . Thank you Supriya for this lovely essay. And a lovely prompt !
Am waiting eagerly for your essay now Sanket!
This is so touching Supriya! I saved my dad’s glasses because they were the last thing he handed to me as he was being hospitalised.
I know, it brings such mixed feelings no? Sorrow, joy, love, nostalgia.
What a lovely tribute through an inanimate object which was yet to personal. Such a precise essay!
Yeah I remember looking into the eyes of my Geography teacher who had the thickest glasses ever!
I was just thinking - when the next generation writes about us, they might say that we were on our phones all the time :)
Thank you so much Karthik!
Yes, we were on our phones doing VERY IMPORTANT STUFF:-)
LOL!
Maximise the life of the hinges...uff! ❤️
I felt a tug in my heart as I read this again. Such a heartwarming essay.
I am soooo happy to see this here :) Loved the picture too, Supriya!
Thanks da Sanobar!
